As a small business owner and resident of Leander, Nacole Thompson is excited to serve this community as member of the city council. She is a wife and mother of three children that all attended LISD's schools. Nacole also understands the joys and constraints of living, working and raising a family in Leander especially during a pandemic. You can trust her to support initiatives and programs that make life easier, safer and more enjoyable for our community.
Nacole Thompson is a graduate of Baylor University and later continued her graduate education earning a Master of Business Administration. Nacole Thompson’s professional career includes more than 15 years’ experience in finance and banking as well as small business development.
Nacole's community service experience in Leander and the surrounding communities spans more than 20 years and includes graduation from the Leander ISD's Leadership Leander Program as well as the Leadership Austin-Emerge Program. Nacole's executive board work includes tenure with Kids Helping Kids of Texas, Black Austin Dems and the Williamson County African-American Chamber of Commerce. Nacole has also served on various boards and committees such as CC Mason Elementary PTO, Wiley Middle School PTA and Athletic Booster, Rouse High School Project Grad and Glenn High School Boys Basketball Booster Club.
Nacole is a servant leader and will continue to be an asset to this community as the City of Leander Place 4 Council-member. Thank you for your vote on May 1, 2021 and in the run off on June 5, 2021. We now can move forward and do the work!
